దూకుడు మీద ఉన్న మహేష్ ఎందుకు సైలెంట్ అయ్యాడు...?

దూకుడు సినిమా తెలుగు చలన చిత్ర చరిత్రలో అత్యధిక వసూళ్లు సాధించిందని ట్విట్టర్ లో ప్రకటించగానే అతడి మాటల్ని కామెడీ చేశారు కొందరు. వేలాది మెసేజ్ లతో ట్విట్టర్ లో కడిగి పారేశారనుకోండి. దాంతో అప్పట్నుంచీ ఆ మాట మళ్ళీ ఎక్కడా వినపడలేదు. దూకుడు యాభై రోజుల వేడుకలో మహేష్ రికార్డు అని తన నోటితో చెప్తాడని ఫ్యాన్స్ ఆశించారు. కానీ మహేష్ రికార్డ్ మాటెత్తకుండా ముగించడంతో అక్కడను ఫ్యాన్స్ ఆశ్చర్యపడ్డారు.

పైగా ఈ చిత్ర నిర్మాత అనిల్ ఆధారాలు లేని రికార్డులని ప్రకటిస్తూ స్టేజిపై స్పీచ్ ఇస్తుంటే మహేష్ ఇబ్బందిగా ముఖం పెట్టాడు. అంత వరకు నవ్వుతూ ఉన్న మహేష్ ఒక్కసారిగా ముఖంలో ఇబ్బంది పడ్డ మార్పును గమనించవచ్చు. అలాగే మగధీర రికార్డులని ఈ చిత్రం బ్రేక్ చేయలేదని తెలిసిన తెలుగు చిత్ర పరిశ్రమ దిగ్గజాలంతా దీని రికార్డుల గురించి ఏం మాట్లడలేదు.

దూకుడు నెంబర్ వన్ అని ప్రకటించలేదు. అనిల్ సుంకర, ఆదిశేషగిరిరావు, సూపర్ స్టార్ కృష్ణ తప్పించి వేరెవ్వరూ రికార్డుల జోలికి పోకుండా స్పీచ్ లు ముగించారు. ఓపెనింగ్ డే, ఓపెనింగ్ వీక్, ఓవర్సీస్ రికార్డులు తప్ప దూకుడు ఖాతాలో మరే రికార్డులు లేవువని అర్థమౌతోంది.

Mahesh Babu:I still remember the incident which happened on the day of the release. My father had called up Srinu and said that it’ll collect 80 crores. He also said that I looked the best and acted really well in Dookudu. His voice is still ringing in my head. Srinu is the reason why this film became such a sensational hit. I thank him a lot for this success. My producers are one of the best in the industry. I thank all the actors who acted in the film and I have learnt a lot from them. It was a memorable experience working with them because I have never worked with so many actors.
