Blast Story

Blast is a Tamil action thriller film directed by Subash K. Raj. The film stars Arjun Sarja, Abhirami, and Preity Mukundhan in the lead roles, with John Kokken, Vivek Prasanna, Arjun Chidambaram, Pawan Krishnaa, and several other notable actors appearing in supporting roles. The music for the movie is composed by Ravi Basrur, while the cinematography is handled by Arun Radhakrishnan and the editing is done by Pradeep E Ragav. The film is produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S. Ganesh & Kalpathi S. Suresh under the AGS Entertainment banner.

Story 

From the beginning of her childhood, Rajaraman (Arjun Sarja), a school headmaster and martial arts trainer, raises his daughter Neela (Preethi Mukundan) with strong values and teaches her to fight against injustice. His wife Neelaveni (Abhirami), who works as a tailor, supports the family in every possible way. Living a peaceful and happy life while running a small medical shop, the family believes in courage, discipline, and women’s empowerment, with Neela receiving karate training from a young age to become mentally and physically strong.

However, their calm life takes a dangerous turn when industrialist Varun Dayal (John Kokken) uses a ₹100 currency note to secretly move ₹1000 crore through a hawala network in order to secure a massive ₹7000 crore contract. Unexpectedly, that same note brings Rajaraman and his daughter into a deadly conflict, leading Varun to plot against their family.

How did Rajaraman raise Neela with the courage to stand against injustice? How did he teach her the importance of women’s strength from childhood? In what way did Neela follow in her father’s footsteps? What was the conspiracy behind Varun Dayal’s huge contract? How did Rajaraman’s peaceful family become connected to the hawala scam?
